Grandmothers have a unique way of knowing what their kids and grandchildren need, and this one is no different. She ensures that her grand pups, Ernie and Pickle (@ernieandpickle), are always the happiest dogs around. They never have to worry about finding the perfect place in the yard because their grandma will always move them to the ideal spot in the sun. How precious! The best part was the look of gratitude in this good boy’s eyes after she got the place just right. Even though we might grow up and be able to take care of ourselves, there’s nothing quite like having somebody who loves us and wants to ensure our happiness.

Do Italian Greyhounds Get Cold Easily?
According to the AKC, Italian Greyhounds are rather cold-sensitive. Their low body fat and short coat offer minimal insulation, making it challenging to retain body heat in cooler temperatures or damp conditions. Their small, lightweight bodies lose heat faster than larger breeds. As a result, Italian Greyhounds can quickly become chilly, even in mild weather, and often require extra warmth, such as sweaters or blankets or naps in the sun, to stay comfortable. During the cooler months, keeping them warm is a priority for pet parents.
People understood the precious connection between these family members. Viewer @pontarelliwallace responded, “That’s what Grandma’s are for! When I go to my son’s house, I always have gifts for his dogs!” They undoubtedly get just as excited as human grandkids. Viewer @_calmtfdown_ remarked, “It’s like nothing else matters but taking care of each other sometimes.” The world would be a better place if it were our primary focus. Viewer @ettymeir3_newcastle responded, “Aww. he loves his grandma…he was so appreciative.” Dogs never take for granted the kindness they are shown.
This loving grandmother’s devotion proves that family is less about genetics and more about who’s there for you. If you're still lucky enough to have yours, be sure to tell her how much she's appreciated.
