Gogglebox stars having a baby

They’ve welcomed Australia into their homes as stars of reality series Gogglebox, and now Matty and Sarah Marie Fahd have shared news they are expecting their first child.

The couple, who feature on the Channel 10 show alongside friend Jad Nehmetallah, took to Instagram to reveal their baby boy is due in November.

“Sarah is enjoying a far less sickly second trimester and Bane has already started acting like a protective big brother,” Matty wrote, alongside an image of their British Bulldog Bane.

“We feel so blessed to be bringing this lil guy into the world, he already has our hearts forever and we can’t wait to meet him.”

Sarah added: “I’m finally starting to feel more myself. We cant wait to meet our baby boy.”

Sarah and Matty were married last year and also took the opportunity to share their support for people who might be struggling to fall pregnant.

“We know how lucky we are to have this opportunity and we want to take this moment to send our love and every ounce of positive energy to all those out there trying,” Matty wrote.

Matty and Sarah have been together for five years and their bulldog Bane regularly joins the trio on the series.

Fans and fellow stars of the show have shared their well wishes and congratulations for the couple.

Gogglebox is nominated in the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards for Most Popular Entertainment Program and Most Outstanding Entertainment Program.
