Golden Globes 2024: All the looks from the red carpet

It's the first big red carpet of the year - the Golden Globes! Known as the 'fun' awards show for the stars (because they're allowed to drink!), the Golden Globes will honour both TV and film stars for their work in 2023. Some of the nominees include Australia's own Margot Robbie for Barbie, Emma Stone for Poor Things, Leonardo DiCaprio for Killers of the Flower Moon, Barry Keoghan for Saltburn and so many more.

So, let's take a look and see how the stars slayed the red carpet this year...

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie looked absolutely stunning as 'Superstar Barbie' from 1977. It's a huge night for the star, with Barbie nominated in several categories.

Julia Garner stunned in a silver sequinned gown with a plunging neckline.

Jonathan Bailey

Jonathan Bailey looked dreamy in an all-white outfit. His series Fellow Travellers is nominated for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Gillian Anderson

Sex Education's Gillian Anderson's dress featured a very interesting detail – vulvas! Yes, really. Speaking of her Gabriela Hearst dress during an interview with Deadline, she shared, "It has vaginas on it," while pointing at the pattern. When asked why, she said, "For so many reasons. It's brand-appropriate."

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum wore a stunning strapless red gown with matching red pumps.

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren got the colourful memo and looked stunning in a bright pink and purple outfit, perhaps in homage to her narrator role in Barbie? The star is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series for her work in 1923.

Hannah Waddingham

Hannah Waddingham went for a see-through black lace gown. She is nominated for Best Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Television Series for her work in Ted Lasso.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez, who's nominated for her work in Only Murders in the Building, went for a red asymmetrical gown.

Barry Keoghan

Barry Keoghan looked dapper in a mismatched red outfit, the star is nominated for his incredible work in Saltburn.

Natasha Lyonne

Natasha Lyonne went for a dress with some interesting structure by Schiaparelli Couture. She's nominated for her work in TV show Poker Face.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning is nominated for her role in The Great, with the star wearing a vintage Pierre Balmain gown for the event.

Hunter Schafer

Euphoria's Hunter Schafer looked beautiful in her custom Prada gown.

Naomi Watts

Aussie star Naomi Watts stunned fans with her one-shouldered, beaded dress.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston kept things classic in a black, strapless gown.

Oppenheimer's Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski looked gorgeous on the carpet.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman looked incredible in her colourful Dior gown, with the star nominated for her work in the film May December, which has confused people due to its inclusion in the Comedy category.

Greta Gerwig

Barbie director Greta Gerwig didn't go for pink, instead choosing to wear black for her big night. The director, writer and actress is nominated for Best Director and Best Screenplay, and Barbie is, of course, nominated for Best Comedy Film.

Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal rocked an interesting accessory on the red carpet with his arm in a sling. The star is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series for The Last of Us and looked suave in his patterned black shirt and pants.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone looked incredible on the red carpet, and is nominated for not one project, but two! The star is nominated for Poor Things and The Curse.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift looked beautiful in her green gown, she's nominated for Cinematic and box office achievement for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez was stunning in her pink gown and looked every bit the superstar.

Timothée Chalamet

Timothée Chalamet looked great in his sequinned jacket, with the star nominated for his role in Wonka.

Brie Larson

Brie Larson looked stunning in her purple dress. She is nominated for Lessons in Chemistry.

America Ferrera
