She created waves at today’s Victoria’s Secret show, but landing a gig at the exclusive runway show didn’t come easy for Gigi Hadid!

Yep, the 20-year-old model of the moment’s mum Yolanda Foster told DailyMail.com that her daughter was rejected twice by the fashion brand before being accepted to walk at this year’s show!

“She worked really hard, this didn’t just fall into her lap,” says the 51-year-old reality star.

'”She's missed it twice, this was her third try and she pulled it off and got a spot that millions and millions of beautiful women deserve as much as she does. That's a part of the game though.”

And the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star reveals she watched Gigi’s audition tape “a hundred times.”

“I keep crying every time I see it, because her reaction was just so sweet!” Yolanda, who is currently battling Lyne disease, added. “It was probably one of the highlights of a mother’s life.”
