Ghosts Casts Alexander Hamilton — Get a First Look at Loot’s Nat Faxon as Founding Father

Is Ghosts finally taking viewers into the room where it happens? And by “it,” we mean the birth of the greatest feud ever known to… Isaac.

Nat Faxon (Loot) will guest-star in an upcoming episode of the hit CBS comedy as Alexander Hamilton, the famous founding father who is the target of Isaac’s scorn, TVLine has learned. Faxon’s installment is slated to air in early 2025.

Watch a teaser video posted to the show’s Instagram, featuring Faxon in costume with Brandon Scott Jones’ Isaac:

When Revolutionary War captain Isaac Higgintoot was alive, Hamilton was his rival. In death, Hamilton has remained something of an obsession for Isaac, who has frequently made mocking comments about his contemporary over the show’s four seasons.

The long-awaited introduction of Hamilton was first teased by Jones at New York Comic Con in October.

“This season we’re going to meet, and see, Alexander Hamilton,” Jones shared, to much audience applause. That episode, the actor added, will shed light on the question, “What could possibly have spawned the rivalry between these two?”

Faxon has a heavily recurring role on ABC’s The Conners, on which he plays Jackie’s husband (and Louise’s brother) Neville. He’ll return for the seventh and final season, which premieres in March. The actor’s other TV credits include Married, Friends From College, A League of Their Own, and Ben and Kate.

Ghosts next airs a new episode this Thursday, Dec. 5, and next Thursday, Dec. 12, at 8:30/7:30c, followed by a one-hour Christmas special on Dec. 19 at 8 pm. The extra-long holiday episode features guest stars Sakina Jaffrey (Snowpiercer, Timeless) and Bernard White (Silicon Valley) as Champa and Mahesh, Jay’s mother and father.

Ghosts fans, are you excited to finally get the story behind Isaac and Hamilton’s feud? Hit the comments with your thoughts on the casting!
