Georgia Love announces 'exciting' new gig after retreat from spotlight
The former Bachelorette star joked she's "always had a face" for radio.
Former Bachelorette Georgia Love has taken to Instagram to announce an exciting new job.
Smiling happily for the camera in a selfie, Georgia shared that she's joined the KIIS network, presenting the news in Melbourne for KIIS1011.
"Always been told I’ve got a face for radio!," Georgia joked in the caption.
"Exciting and super fun new gig taking to the airwaves to bring Melbourne your news on @kiis1011."
People were quick to flock to the comments to congratulate her on her new role.
"News on my airways never sounded so good!," Georgia's husband, Lee Elliot wrote.
"Now I have to listen to the radio 🙄," former Bachelorette contestant Cam Cranley joked.
"There she is!! Get it doll face," musical theatre star Josh Piterman wrote.
"The perfect voice (not face) for radio! So pumped for you, G!," another person commented.

Georgia's retreat from the spotlight
The new gig comes after a significant break in the public eye for Georgia, when she faced severe backlash after being accused of racism.
The 'Everybody Has an Ex' podcast host caused controversy in 2021 when she posted a video to her Instagram account of a cat in the window of an Asian restaurant, with the caption, "shop attendant or lunch?!’.
Georgia quickly deleted and apologised for the video, but the backlash was swift and she later said she struggled to cope with the intensity of it.
She left her TV career at Channel Seven and took up a job in public relations. In an interview with Stellar magazine in 2022, she said people should be able to "say sorry, show they are sorry, and move on".
"If we have a world where nobody is making any mistakes, then show me behind the curtain… because that’s just not possible," Georgia said.
