"My kids are obsessed and they’re an easy snack to make for Halloween!" she said in the caption to her Instagram post about these sweet little treats. "You only need pretzel twists, white chocolate and some candy eyes. Keep them in your fridge or freezer for crunchy and sweet snacking."
She notes that you can also make these dairy-free and gluten-free. For her video, she used gluten-free pretzel twists, regular white chocolate and candy eyeballs. She melted the white chocolate, dipped her pretzels in it until they were completely coated, and placed them on a wire rack. When they're on the rack, drop a candy eyeball in each of the top loops of the pretzel. (Don't worry if the eyeballs are a little bit off. They'll look even cuter that way.) Finally, she put them in the refrigerator (still on the wire rack) to harden.
"The cutest and will be so fun to make with my son!" someone commented on her post. "I’m obsessed," another person said. So are we! What a fun food craft for Halloween.
"The way they’re all googley-eyed af is the best part," someone else said. That really is the best part, plus you could customize the pretzels by tinting the chocolate with food coloring and using other candy pieces, like candy bones and candy pumpkins.
