General Hospital Issues Viewer Advisory for Upcoming Episodes, Amid California Wildfires
Today’s fire-themed episode of ABC’s General Hospital, and others that follow, “may prove too difficult to watch for some,” the long-running daytime drama advised fans on social media this afternoon.
“In light of current events” — meaning, the fast-moving wildfires and adverse wind conditions that have been ravaging the coast in Los Angeles since Tuesday — “today’s episode of General Hospital (and several that follow) may prove too difficult to watch for some,” the advisory reads. “Please keep this in consideration prior to tuning in.”

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the fires currently raging in Los Angeles county,” the statement also says.
At the close of a recent episode, a fire started in Port Charles gangster Sonny Corinthos’ penthouse, trapping his and Carly’s son Michael. The storyline presumably is setting up cast member Chad Duell’s exit from the role of Michael.
