Gage Linville Back with Dirt Bike Depot Racing Team for 2025
The Dirt Bike Depot/WMR Competition Performance KTM Racing Team announced today on Instagram that they have signed their first rider, Gage Linville, for the upcoming 250SX East campaign in 2025.
"He’s back‼️ We are pumped to welcome back Gage Linville (@gage402) to the DBDRacing Program for 2025, after a stellar season with us this past year. Gage looks to keep his momentum going this upcoming season aboard his @dbdracing @wmr_raceshop backed @ktmusa 250sxf! We couldn’t be more excited to have Gage back on board with us and for the trust Gage has in our program. Bring on 2025 💪🏼😤" (DBD Racing via Instagram)
Gage rode for the new privateer team in this past season's Monster Energy AMA 250SX East Supercross Championship, finishing 15th during the second round in Arlington aboard a GasGas MC 250F. He would place 16th overall during his first full season and with the DBD Racing team.
Since the Supercross series, Linville has raced the Triple Crown MXTour 2024 250 series up in Canada, with impressive performances aboard the Partzilla PRMX Racing Kawasaki KX250. He would finish the series in 3rd place overall and even grabbed his first win impressively at Rivergale with a 1-1.
We spoke with Gage about returning to the team, switching brands yet again, and his outlook ahead of 2025:
"I had a pretty good year last year with them (DBD Racing Team), and really wanted to build on that. Last year I rode a GasGas, but it was the 2023 old frame so the new 2025's have different frames. I'm ready to get on the bike and start getting comfortable with the new frame and feeling out the differences. (But) at the same time its still a dirt bike so I don't think it's going to be a big transition. I went to Canada with four days on a bike (Kawasaki) I've never rode until then. With 4-5 months on the bike before the East Coast series, I'll be fine."
The team now has WMR Competition Performance KTM backing for the 2025 season, and we are awaiting the other riders' announcements soon.
