Funyuns Fans 'Definitely Will Try' New Flavor: 'I'm Intrigued'

Funyuns is getting a brand new spin—and fans are ready and willing to give it a try.

Popular food blogger Snackolator announced the introduction of a new Funyuns flavor in a recent post on Instagram that promises to be a huge hit with onion lovers: Sour Cream & Funyuns.

"Funyuns is bringing the puns with their new Sour Cream & Funyuns flavor and I cannot wait to try these!" Snackolator wrote in the caption.

"This flavor will be coming soon (not sure exactly when yet) and features the Funyuns we all know and love but with an added Sour Cream & Onion treatment. I don't think these will be store exclusive but make sure you're following because I will update when and where these will be on store shelves as soon as I can find out!"

Snackolator's followers shared mostly positive reactions to the news.

"This year the new food items are hitting 😍," declared one person.

"I'm definitely will try this 💯," agreed a second, with another commenter chiming in to say they were "intrigued."

"🤔 Curious," admitting someone else, adding, "The steakhouse ones were really good."

"They could never make me hate these salted styrofoam snacks 😍," joked another fan.

Not everybody was on board, however.

"Considering how disappointing every trick FunYuns flavor is I'll assume these will follow suit," somebody complained, while another skeptic said they "wish they’d bring back the chile limon."

As the comments suggest, this isn't the first time Funyuns has offered a twist on the original, with additional flavors including Funyuns Spicy Queso, Funyuns Flamin' Hot, Funyuns Steakhouse Onion and even Funyuns x Maruchan's Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen chips.
