Seeing double: Seven star rocks same frock as Jen Hawkins

No one wants to be the person who shows up in the exact same dress as someone else. But what if that someone else was none other than former Miss Universe and Aussie modelling darling, Jennifer Hawkins?

That was the unfortunate reality for Seven racing presenter Francesca Cumani, who quickly realised she was dressed in the same Jonathan Simkhai designed frock as the acclaimed model while reporting from Flemington on Derby Day.

To make matters worse, even their choice of headwear – a black, wide-brimmed hat – was eerily similar.

In a scene reminiscent of Nine’s infamous ‘jacketgate’ saga, Francesca presented much of the morning broadcast in a black trench coat that almost completely covered her dress.

Laughing off the mishap, she told her co-hosts, "hence the coat!"

But that was likely due to the chilly weather, and she took it off when the sun was high in the afternoon.
