Fox News Taps Will Cain To Host Afternoon Show After Neil Cavuto Departure
Will Cain, the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend, will take over the 4 p.m. ET weekday timeslot on Fox News Channel following the departure of Neil Cavuto last month.
Cain will start his show, The Will Cain Show, on January 21.

Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt will replace Cain as Fox & Friends Weekend co-host, joining Rachel Campos-Duffy. As he takes the new role, Hurt will step down as opinion editor of the Washington Times. He will continue to write a regular column for the publication.
Cavuto left the network last month after hosting his show since the Fox News launch in 1996.
The network said that Cain’s new show “will offer a comprehensive look at the news of the day in a signature podcast style.” He joined the network in 2020. He also hosts a podcast, with will continue to post new episodes and simulcast on Fox News Digital.
Fox News also announced other changes, with The Fox Report and The Big Weekend Show expanding to two hours on Saturdays and Sundays starting January 18.
The network also said that Dagen McDowell will join The Big Money Show on Fox Business Network, as it expands from noon to 2 p.m. ET on weekdays starting January 27. She also continues to co-host the early evening show The Bottom Line.
