10 chefs reveal their favourite bars and drinks
Chefs work their butts off all day preparing food, so it's no surprise they love letting off steam at the bar, sipping on their poison of choice.
In Sydney and Melbourne - there's no shortage of funky bars. Whether they're underground or on rooftops, holes in the wall or even part of a restaurant - bartenders in Oz know how to make a mean drink.
The ambience, decor and of course, drinks lists at these bars are obviously on point otherwise our top chefs wouldn't be recommending them.

Curtis Stone - Coles ambassador, Celebrity chef and owner of Maude, Los Angeles:
“Whisky at The Baxter Inn. I kind of like Frankie’s too, it’s great. I went there and they had rock ‘n’ roll karaoke and I was like YES!”
Ben Shewry - Head chef and owner of multi-award winning restaurant Attica, Melbourne:
“Bar Americano, Whatever they are offering, you can’t go wrong”
Dan Hong - Merivale chef of Ms. Gs, Mr. Wong and El Loco, Sydney:
“I love a good Negroni. I don’t go out anymore but I do like to go to Palmer and Co after a long shift every now and then.”
