McDonald's New Happy Meal Boxes turn into Virtual Reality Goggles


Who would have thought the McDonald's Happy Meal could get any happier?

Meet Happy Goggles, the fast food chain’s new Happy Meal box that turns into a set of virtual reality goggles.

Within a few simple steps, the innocent children's meal box transforms into a thing of the future.

Available only in McDonald's stores around Sweden from March 5 to March 12, the goggles can be built by taking apart the happy meal box, easily assembled by kids.

Once put together, all they have to do is pop their iPhones in and in no time they’ll be on their way to happy town.

Maccas’ specially developed their very own educational app for the virtual adventure, a skiing game called Slope Stars.

A very clever move on McDonald's part to keep kids (and adults) entertained and to get more families coming in for a quick and cheap meal with an even happier ending.
