Mum's game-changing hack for folding fitted sheets goes viral

There’s no denying one of the worst things about changing your bed sheets is having to grapple with them once they’re washed and try to get them to fit back in your cupboard.

But one mum has shared her simple four-step hack for perfectly folding fitted sheets, which is being hailed as a game-changer online.

The Australian woman, who goes by the name Mama Mila on TikTok uploaded a video showcasing her easy process, which she claims only takes seconds to complete.

“Folding a fitted sheet saves space in storage and only takes 20 seconds. Let me know if you try this one at home,” she captioned the video.

First of all, she takes the fitted sheet and places it flat on the bed with the elastic side up so it’s easier to fold.

“Flip the bottom two corners and place them into the top two corners to create a rectangle,” she then says in the video, showing how she places her hands inside the corners of the sheet and folds them on top of the other corners.

Then Mila can be seen in the video folding the sheet in half lengthways and finally folding the short sides inwards.

Mila also recommends keeping sheets in a dust bag to keep them fresh and neat for use. She states in the comments that hers usually come with the sheets and hers are from Bed Threads.

“Will try this method next time. Worst things to fold,” one person wrote.

“I hate folding fitted sheets. Thank you,” another person wrote.
