Khloe Kardashian says stylists refused to work with her until she lost weight

Khloe Kardashian might be proud of her recent weight loss, but there’s no love lost for the “superficial” fashion industry.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star appears in the recent issue of Harper’s Bazaar US, where she admits stylists refused to work with her until she lost weight.

“People actually said, ‘I just can't work with you’ - because I was too big,” Khloe explains. “That always hurt my feelings.”

Though the reality star took the criticism on the chin, she says she shunned the same stylists who came crawling back after she dropped two dress sizes.

“I’m just like, "F*** you. I’m not going to reward your bad behavior,” says Khloe, who also admits she finds it frustrating that the fashion industry started paying attention to her only after her weight loss.

“I definitely think the fashion industry, and people in general, look at me more now that I’ve lost weight,” she explains. "Even on shoots, I would never have options for clothing. There would always be this attention on Kourtney and Kim, but I was too much work for [stylists] or they had nothing in my size. I wasn't even that crazy big!"

The star, who’s now lost 18kg, credits her slimmed-down frame with intense workouts and a strict diet.

“I’m super competitive and I’m a sweater,” Khloe says of her gym sessions. “I’m like, ‘Don’t f*** with me and don’t mess up my routine.’ Kim sort of prances and is super cute and gorge, while Kourtney and I are dripping wet.”

Khloe recently divulged her ‘day on a plate’ in a passage of her book called 'The Joy of Cooking', explaining that she “doesn’t go near desserts”. Instead, her diet consists of protein, salads and healthy snacks:

5:00 a.m.: I'm up bright and early and have a huge glass of water and a black coffee.
6:00 a.m.: I'm off to the gym, ready to sweat.
8:00 a.m.: Breakfast is another big glass of water, my ideal oatmeal, and a protein shake.
11:00 a.m.: I snack on an apple with peanut butter or fruit and nuts.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch is a Chinese chicken salad.
3:00 p.m.: Snack time! Homemade hummus, chopped veggies, edamame, and another big glass of water (this time infused with fruit).
7:00 p.m.: Time for dinner. I usually keep it pretty clean, and my favorite go-to is steamed veggies and fish served with my Magic Mash-Up and a glass of water of course.
9:00 p.m.: I end my day with a bowl of fruit with plain Greek yogurt.
