Yahoo Lifestyle 'Farmer Wants a Wife' Contestant Has a Surprising Connection to Country Artist
The new season of Farmer Wants a Wife is just around the corner, and fans are finally getting a glimpse at the contestants in search of a potential husband.
Hosted by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, the third season of the popular reality series will see farmers Matt Warren, Jay Woods, John Sansone and Colton Hendricks meet over 30 women who are interested in leaving city life behind to live on the land.
Now, FOX has revealed the identities of the would-be brides—and fans were quick to notice that one of the women looked very familiar, per Taste of Country.
Rebecca Fox, who's attempting to win over cattle rancher Hendricks, is no stranger to the country world—she dated "World on Fire" singer Nate Smith.

Fox and Smith reportedly went public with their relationship in September 2023, when Fox appeared in a carousel of photos Smith posted on Instagram for his birthday. That November, they made their first red carpet appearance at the 2023 CMA Awards.
It's not clear when the couple parted ways, but Smith shared photos of his new girlfriend, Kayla, in December 2024.
Fox, meanwhile, is clearly looking to move on with a partner of the farming variety.
Smith opened up about a previous marriage in an appearance on the Viall Files podcast in October 2024.
“I was too immature. I was way too immature. I didn’t know how to stick it out. I was 23. She was 34," he said. "I’ve never talked about this, by the way. Ever. I’ve never really brought it up."
“Together, we were just so toxic," Smith continued. "We weren’t good together. It was just bad. And like I said, I don’t think I was mature enough to be like, ‘Let's work through this. I choose you no matter what.’ Those aren’t thoughts that ever crossed my mind."
