The canned water purveyor announced on Jan. 30 that it was rolling out a new collection of beverages, declaring “You won’t believe it’s not soda.”
The announcement on Instagram first showed an image of the three new flavors, followed by individual images of boxes of each respective flavor. “Introducing our new soda-flavored sparkling water: Rootbeer Wrath, Killer Cola, and Doctor Death. Now available on Amazon or at a retailer near you,” the caption continued.

Liquid Death noted that “12-packs are available exclusively on Amazon,” while 6-packs are available in a larger variety of stores, including Target and select Albertsons Safeway Co. supermarkets, including the namesake stores and Vons, Acme Markets, Carrs, and Jewel-Osco.
A national retail roll-out can be expected beginning April 1.
The three flavors excited fans, who jumped into the comments to share their enthusiasm for the 10-calorie drinks with no artificial sweeteners.
“NEEEEEEED!!!” wrote one fan, while another agreed, commenting, “Let the games begin!”
Several fans who have already sampled the drinks gave their impressions, writing, “Can confirm the dr death slaps,” and “Dr Death is incredible 🔥.”
Fans who wanted to know if the cola flavor was more reminiscent of Coca-Cola or Pepsi were told by other commenters that “It tastes like the cola bottle candies,” with some comparing the flavor to “Olipop or Poppi cola flavors.”
Others chimed in with suggestions, writing, “Ginger ale would also be amazing.”
Though some fans were disappointed to find out that the sparkling waters don’t have caffeine, the brand does have another new product on the market with natural caffeine: Sweet Reaper Iced Tea. That beverage, available now on Amazon and in 19.2 oz cans at national retailers, will also come in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans beginning in early May.
