Fans Say Hershey's Is 'Getting Wild' with Unexpected New Release
The last thing we’d expect anybody to think of while in the presence of Hershey’s chocolate is moisturizer. At least that was our mindset up until we came across a rather unhinged post shared by @paulreactss on the subject.
Up until today, Hershey’s body butter existed solely in our minds as three words we never would have expected to read together in a sentence. But, due to the eye-opening reporting of the self-proclaimed King of Gourmands, our lives will never be the same, thanks to this rather unique, internationally exclusive product. We’ll let you decide whether our lives have been changed for better or for worse.

“These look like chocolate and strawberry syrup,” Paul explains during the start of his video, “I actually had to translate the back to make sure if these were edible or not,” he continues, “and they are NOT edible!”

In his video, Paul can be seen holding two bottles that look dangerously similar to Hershey’s syrup products here in the U.S.: the Hershey’s Chocolate Body Cream and Hershey’s Strawberry Body Cream. And while the price per bottle has slipped Paul's mind in the time since he purchased the lot, he did save the fun of trying each body cream out for us lucky viewers at home.
“It's way more watery than I thought it was going to be,” Paul says while trying a dab of the Chocolate body cream. “It smells like espresso coffee syrup in the best way possible.” However, while taking note of the overall texture and scent of the cream, Paul added that it “leans very coffee forward.” And while the chocolate cream has a nice “glow” to it, Paul admits that he wished it was “just plain chocolate.”
Upon moving on to the Strawberry body cream, Paul immediately identifies a familiar smell of Pop-Tarts, which quickly turns from excitement on his face to distaste upon further inspection.
“But it also smells like somebody’s sweat,” Paul says. And after one final whiff, he adds, “No, and now it smells like turkey from the Lunchables pack. Ewwww!”
Although both bottles are “absolutely cute,” as per Paul's exact words, the product inside is “so disappointing.” And as for the final consensus from the pro who does it best? The chocolate flavor smells like coffee and the strawberry flavor smells “weird as f**k.” Do with that information what you will, should you come across one or both of these seriously strange products online or during your next trip to Japan.
