Zayn Malik upsets fans by smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette!

He's gone from a squeaky-clean boybander to a rebellious outsider, and now Zayn Malik has upset fans by posting a pic of himself puffing away on a suspicious-looking cigarette to Instagram!

"Why is he doing this to us?" one follower commented on the grainy black-and-white photograph, while another added, "Zayn, we love and care for you, every single one of us. We care for your health, so please please stop smoking."

The controversial pic comes a year after a video went viral of the 22-year-old and his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson smoking what appeared to be a joint while One Direction were touring in South America.

But Zayn isn't the only 1D popstar upsetting fans by posing with a cigarette!
