Madonna has confirmed she once dated Tupac

Madonna has opened up about her short relationship with hip-hop artist Tupac.

She spilled the beans when asked by radio host Howard Stern about her infamous 1994 interview with David Lettermen, where she dropped the f-bomb 14 times.

"I was mad at [Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day," Madonna said to Stern on Wednesday. "I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta."

The 56-year-old Material Girl, who has sold 300 million albums world wide, said she thought the relationship was common knowledge.

Tupac Shakur died at age 25 as the result 1996 drive by shooting in Las Vagas. It is reported that he described Madonna as a “real nice” person that “helped him a lot” just before his death. Shakur’s murder still remains unsolved.

Madonna’s love life has always been a source of international interest and speculation. She has had two marriages. One Pre-Tupac to Sean Penn between 1985 and 1989 and one post-Tupac to Guy Ritchie between 2000 and 2008.

A third marriage for the “Rebel Heart” singer?

“Never say never” was her answer to Stern’s question.

With Tupac Shakur as a newly instated notch on her belt, literally anyone could be next.
