Taylor Swift is ‘dead’ after receiving praise from Madonna. The Queen of Pop told Australia’s ‘’Today’’ show she’s a massive fan of Taylor Swift’s music.

"It's good to have princesses [of pop]. It means there's lots of pretty dresses around.,” the Like a Virgin singer told Richard Wilkins.

“I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. I can't get them out of my head."

Overwhelmed by Madonna’s words, the Blank Space singer took to her Tumblr page and responded, “Thanks now I’m dead.”

She followed her comment with, "#HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THIS #BE COOL TAYLOR STOP BEING EMBARRASSING."

Perhaps the Queen of Pop will collaborate with the Princess of Pop… once Taylor has calmed down from her fangirl moment, that is.
