All Eyes Were on Dua Lipa During Her “Houdini” Performance at the 2024 Grammys
Dua Lipa's cool-girl prowess not only lives on her Instagram profile, but the Grammys. After her disco-infused performance of "Levitating" and "Don't Start Now" in 2021, Dua dominated the stage with her first high-energy live rendition of her latest track, "Houdini." The singer also previewed her upcoming single, "Training Season."

The Grammy winner's Barbie hit, "Dance the Night," is up for two awards at this year's ceremony. Ahead of the big night, Dua posted one of her classic photo dumps capturing her prep for the awards ceremony. "Grammy rehearsals and other fun thingsssss," she wrote alongside a mirror selfie with her fiery-red locks. She also posted pics in a theater, in the Late Night With Seth Meyers green room, and hanging out with fellow pop stars Charli XCX and Tove Lo.
As for "Houdini," Dua said that the song was inspired by the fun moments and "bliss" of her single era. "This track represents the most light and freeing parts of my singledom. 'Houdini' is very tongue in cheek, exploring the idea of whether someone is really worth my while or if I'll ghost them in the end," she wrote in a statement upon its release in November. "You never know where something may take you, that's the beauty of being open to whatever life throws your way. I'm looking forward to sharing that feeling of defiant bliss with my fans."
Say it with me: DL3 can't come soon enough. 😩
