Best-selling author Karen Kingsbury has literally authored hundreds of novels and short stories. One of her most popular novels has been adapted for the screen in a new movie premiering on Great American Family. “Of all the books I have written, Someone Like You is easily my readers’ favorite. The only way to make the movie in my heart was to make it myself,” said Kingsbury.

Someone Like You premieres on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family.
What is Someone Like You about?
Someone Like You is a love story with redemptive themes of family reconciliation, sacrifice, and beauty from tragedy, themes that often are the heart of works by Kingsbury.
The story follows architect Dawson Gage (Jake Allyn), who fell in love with London Quinn (Sarah Fisher) in high school, despite her protests. A decade later, Dawson and London remain best friends. Suddenly, tragedy strikes, leading Dawson to embark on a final, selfless mission for London: Finding her secret twin sister, Andi Allen (also played by Sarah Fisher). The twins, separated as embryos, must confront their own journeys of love, loss, and discovery.

Sarah Fisher (London Quinn/Alli Allen)
Fisher is probably best known for her series regular role as Becky Baker on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Other credits include Heartland, A Harvest Homecoming, and Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.
Jake Allyn (Dawson Gage)
Allyn is best known for his role as Ryan Taylor on The Baxters, which is also based on a series of Kingsbury novels. Other credits include Mayans M. C., Ride, and NCIS.
Lynn Collins (Louise Quinn)
Collins has had series regular or guest starring roles on shows like The Walking Dead, Bosch, and Manhunt.
Scott Reeves (Larry Quinn)
Reeves is probably best known for his role as Steven Webber on General Hospital where he has appeared in over 300 episodes. Other credits include Ride, Dolly Parton's Heartstrings, and The Resident.
Robyn Lively (Jenny Allen)
Lively has been acting since childhood having roles early in her career in shows like Knight Rider and Punky Brewster. She has worked steadily throughout the years, having appeared more recently in Lioness, 9-1-1 Lonestar, and Cobra Kai where she reprised her role as Jessica Andrews from The Karate Kid III.
She is married to co-star Bart Johnson. The two not only appear in Someone Like You, they also both appear in Landman. If you're wondering, Robyn Lively is related to another Lively actress. Blake Lively is her half-sister.
Bart Johnson (Jim Allen)
Johnson has been acting over three decades with early roles in Walker, Texas Ranger, Thunder Alley, and Clueless. More recent roles include Yellowstone, The Rookie, and High School Musical: The Musical.
