EXCLUSIVE: Meredith Marks Talks ‘RHOSLC’ Reunion Fashion, Hosting Sundance Celebration and Her Bath Obsession
Meredith Marks is starting 2024 with a busy schedule.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” member, whose facial expressions and catchphrases fascinated fans of the show throughout its fourth season, will host a three-day event celebrating the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Marks partnered with shoe retailer DSW, beauty brands Epicutis and Nulastin, and with LGBTQIA+ advocacy organization GLAAD to organize different activations that will take place from Friday to Sunday at her boutique in Park City, Utah.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun and a lot of chaos and a lot of work, but I’m excited,” the businesswoman told WWD. Marks has been hosting events at the Sundance Film Festival for ten years.
Ahead of the event, Marks has been enjoying social media’s attention derived from the reunion episodes of “RHOSLC,” where the jewelry designer is seen in a red Givenchy dress with Manolo Blahnik heels. “We were just given the inspiration, which was kind of tropical, so to not necessarily having to wear these like major gowns, which we have sort of been more geared towards in the past, that was nice,” she said. The first episode of the three-part reunion aired on Jan. 9.
Marks, who described her style as modern, chic and inspired by Audrey Hepburn, among other fashion influences, founded her namesake fine jewelry brand in 2009. She is also the owner of a caviar brand and shares cohosting duties with her husband, Seth Marks, on the “Hanging by a Thread” podcast.
For 2024, the entrepreneur already has two new projects lined up. The first is a line of bath products, which will capitalize on her bath obsession that fans came to know while watching “RHOSLC.” “I’m kind of getting a little caught up right now, but it’s coming soon,” she promised.
Marks is also planning to collaborate more with her son, Brooks Marks, who owns his namesake clothing line. “I think we’re going to work together on expanding what he’s doing into my brand or keeping it separate, but working on it together,” she said.
Like other housewives from the Bravo franchise, Marks succeeds in embracing viral moments from her show. On Jan. 11, she was seen playing a remix of Lindsay Lohan’s “Rumors” with one of her memorable quotes from “RHOSLC” while serving as a DJ at a GLAAD party in Los Angeles. She also changed her profile picture on Instagram to another viral image of her from the show’s last episode, which aired on Jan. 2.
“I can definitely laugh at myself,” she said. “I just find the whole thing to be very entertaining because you say these things in real time and you have no idea how they’re going to come across or how they will end up interpreted.”
The second part of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” reunion will air on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Marks said the newest member of the show, Monica Garcia, is likely the one who needed the most to attend her Recovery Space, one of the activations scheduled for Sunday at her boutique. “I mean, she had a lot to answer and she’s definitely got the questions,” Marks said.
