EXCLUSIVE: Ashley Graham Talks New Olly Partnership and Her Fashion Month Wellness Routine

Ashley Graham has always kept it candid when it comes to wellness: whether she’s posting about kegel exercises on Instagram or giving fans an inside look at her workouts on YouTube, the supermodel has never been one to gate-keep her self-care secrets.

Now, Graham is partnering with Olly to share how their supplements play a key role in her routine. In her new position as brand ambassador, she’ll appear at live activations and front campaigns for Olly products as the company expands its women’s health offerings (they introduced a menopause supplement last fall).

“I love working with brands that I actually use,” Graham told WWD. “Olly tastes delightful, it’s science backed and it also works.”

The “Side Hustlers” cohost discovered Olly in 2018, sampling their B-12-packed Daily Energy supplements as a cure for jet lag.

“I had to stay on, and my hairdresser was like, ‘Here, just have some of these,'” Graham explained. “We had landed at 5 in the morning, and I stayed up late. I had so much energy. From then on out, I got so into Olly. I was reaching out like, ‘Hey guys, would love to work with you!'”

Graham’s hopes came to fruition in 2019 when she appeared in her first Olly campaign, which saw her promote the same variant of gummies she first fell in love with.

The supermodel’s routine has changed over the past five years — she’s since welcomed three children with husband Justin Ervin — and so, too, have her supplement needs. These days, Olly’s Sleep and Goodbye Stress formulas are in her rotation.

“Between working in different time zones, having three kids and being married, my plate is full,” Graham shared. “So sometimes I need help falling asleep. Then in the midst of a chaotic day, the Stress gummies are really good for moments when your chest feels a bit heavy.”

As fashion month kicks off, getting the right amount of rest helps Graham stay on schedule.

“There are late nights and early mornings,” she said. “I feel like sleep is so underrated. I also try not to drink a ton of alcohol because it’s one of those things that really can mess you up the next day.”

Whether she’s walking the runway or sitting front row, organization (especially in regards to her wardrobe) also keeps Graham sane.

“That’s something that brings calm, just laying out my clothes the night before so I can not have a crazy morning with the kids,” she added. “It’s like, at least I know what I’m wearing.”

If her love of Olly gummies is any indication, Graham has a preference for homeopathic remedies: the brand’s formulas are made with no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. Graham’s philosophy even extends to injectables — biweekly facial acupuncture and cupping, she said, has a similar affect on fine lines and wrinkles.

“Sandra Chiu [of Brooklyn’s Lanshin] has been part of my beauty routine since 2017,” Graham explained. “She is my Botox and filler because I don’t get either. I’m trying to hold out as long as possible, because I’m always thinking about my future face.”

While Graham seemingly has her wellness regimen down to a science, she recommends that those trying to build a self-care routine of their own “start small and simple.”

“I can’t even get half the things done in the morning that I would like to, and the less pressure I put on myself, the better off I am actually,” Graham said. “It’s not about fitting it all in, it’s about doing it in moderation.”
