The 32-year-old announced the exciting news on Sunday, revealing she opted to deliver Romona via a home birth, alongside her husband and retired Olympic rower Sam Loch.
Romona is Mr Abbott’s second grandchild.

“Grateful for my baby daddy and best friend Sam Loch and my incredible birth team, @matrescencemidwifery @ohmmumma.”
Ms Loch, announced her pregnancy in December last year, after welcoming her first child, Ernest, in July 2021.
The former body builder married her husband in 2019, following a whirlwind romance. The couple got engaged a mere two weeks after meeting, and married three months later on Valentine’s Day.
Mr Loch also shared a short video little brother Ernest welcoming his new sister to the family.
The Instagram story was captioned: “The best way to welcome your sister in an Australian family is by smearing Vegemite on her face”.
Mr Abbott and his wife Margaret have two other daughters, Bridget and Louise.
