Commemorative items included in goodie bags that President Donald Trump gave his VIP inauguration guests are being sold online for extortionate amounts less than a week after the ceremony.

A gift bag presented to Trump’s personal guests on Monday included a special edition bottle of his favorite beverage, Diet Coke, Page Six reported.

Other items taken home by Trump’s nearest and dearest included a commemorative medal on a wooden stand embossed with the faces of Trump and his vice president, JD Vance; a white canvas tote bag, watch dish, and red leather journal with gold details, all embossed with a sketch of the Capitol building; a Christmas ornament in the shape of the White House; and a red and gold coin.

It seems some guests are happy to part with their merch to make a quick buck instead. A search on eBay by the Daily Beast found multiple listings of Trump’s special Diet Coke bottles, with some listed for more than $4,500.

“RARE! 47th President Donald J. Trump Commemorative 60th Inauguration Diet Coke,” one listing on the website is titled. The seller is asking for $4,547, and says they have pictures from Trump’s Inauguration Day to prove its authenticity.

“You are looking at an EXTREMELY RARE, Limited Edition Commemorative 60th Inauguration Diet Coke as presented to the 47th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump!” the item’s description states.

“This bottle is 100% AUTHENTIC, Brand New in unopened condition and was acquired at the Presidential Black Tie Liberty Ball on Inauguration Night Jan 20th, 2025. I have included photos from the Gala as taken by myself.”

Days before he was sworn in for a second term, Trump was awarded his “first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural” Diet Coke by Coca-Cola’s CEO, his aide Margo Martin said on X. Trump at one point reportedly drank 12 cans of Diet Coke daily.

“Tonight, President Trump received the first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, James Quincey,” Martin wrote, sharing a photo of the pair and a close-up of the bottled beverage.

VIP guests at the inauguration included billionaires Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk.
