Every Game Coming Xbox Game Pass In April 2024
Shadow of the Tomb Raider leopard
It’s April, and you know what that means: more games are coming to Xbox Game Pass. And it’s a good thing they are, because April is looking pretty dry for game releases across the board — not just on Xbox, but on PS5 and Switch, too.
Every month, Microsoft adds a host of new games to its Netflix-like games subscription service, from big games like GTA V to tiny indie games made by just one person. All of Microsoft’s own games come to Game Pass on day one, as do some smaller third-party games, but most Game Pass games come a few months or years after their release.
March’s Game Pass updates saw some interesting additions like Control Ultimate Edition, No More Heroes 3, and the first Activision Blizzard game, Diablo 4. This month isn’t quite as big – so far at least – but there are some cracking day one releases.
Here’s every game coming to Xbox Game Pass in April 2024.
Xbox Game Pass New Games – April 2024
The first half of April has a lovely little collection of games coming to Game Pass on both PC and console, including Superhot: Mind Control Delete, the sequel to the excellent instant classic Superhot. We’re also getting a couple of day one releases in Botany Manor and Harold Halibut, both of which will be available at no extra cost for Game Pass subscribers on PC and Xbox Series X|S when they release.
Here’s every game announced for Game Pass in April 2024, including dates for when they’ll be available:
Superhot: Mind Control Delete (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Out now
Lego 2K Drive (Cloud and Console) – April 3
Lil Gator Game (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 4
EA Sports PGA Tour (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) via EA Play – April 4
Kona (Cloud and Console) – April 9
Botany Manor (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – April 9
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 11
Harold Halibut (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – April 16
Xbox Game Pass Games Leaving – April 2024
Alas, no games get added to Xbox Game Pass without some also leaving. It’s a pretty big list this month – still smaller than the list of additions, of course – but there are some tough games getting removed. Included is both the Amnesia Collection and Amnesia: Rebirth, as well as Soma, all great games. The biggest loss, though, is the Australia-developed Phantom Abyss, which is one of the best games ever to grace the service. It will be missed, so play it while you can or pick it up at a discount before it leaves.
Here are the games leaving Game Pass in April 2024:
April 15, 2024
Amnesia Collection (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Amnesia: Rebirth (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Back 4 Blood (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Phantom Abyss (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Research and Destroy (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Soma (Cloud, Console, and PC)
