February is the ideal time of year to cozy up on the couch and watch your favorite tv shows. It’s not spring yet, so it’s too cold to enjoy the outdoors, and I’ve had my fill of the typical winter activities — I’ll be saving the next round of ice skating for November.

In other words, it’s the perfect month for anyone who loves Netflix, and this year that doesn’t just include catching up on a show. Starting today, the new Netflix Bites Vegas is open at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This unique restaurant will give fans a taste of their favorite movies and shows through dishes and drinks that are inspired by some of Netflix’s most popular productions.

This isn’t the first time the brand has taken a dip into the food world. Its previous pop-up in 2023, Netflix Bites Los Angeles, was a resounding success with reservations fully booked for over six weeks. Unlike the earlier iteration, which was only open for a little over a month, the new Netflix Bites in Vegas will be open for an entire year.

The streaming giant previously teased a few of the items that will be available at its Vegas restaurant, including the “Too Hot to Handle,” a spicy Bloody Mary made with habañero-infused vodka and cayenne-candied bacon, and Bridgerton Regency Tea, a three-tiered tea service complete with finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries that reflect different families from the hit show. And alongside its official opening today, Netflix has now revealed the full menu for its new culinary residency.

Because Netflix Bites Vegas will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it has a menu for each meal of the day; but don’t worry, all of them have themed dishes for you to try. If you’re there for breakfast and neither the Bloody Mary nor the tea service is calling your name, then try the Leo-fied Lassi, which Netflix describes as “inspired by the vibrant animated reptiles of Leo, this fresh green yogurt-based smoothie is served in an edible chocolate terrarium and combines vanilla yogurt with green apple and kiwi puree, Calpico concentrate, simple syrup, spinach, Oreo crumble, mint sprig.”

What's on the menu at Netflix Bites Vegas?

A few standout items include:

  • Bridgerton Tea Service — three-tiered tea service with finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries

  • Ginny & Georgia's Peaches Foster — challah French toast with caramelized peach compote and whipped cream

  • Eleven's Feast — some of Eleven's personal comfort foods, including chicken and waffles

  • To All the Tomato Soups I've Loved Before — tomato soup with a broken heart crouton

  • Hellfire Honey — pan pizza with pepperoni and hot honey

  • Orange Is the New Mac — mac and cheese with a dusting of Hot Cheetos

  • The Grand Line Show Boat — shareable sushi ship of nori rolls with rice, spicy tuna, cured carrots, cucumber, and pickled ginger

  • WWE Smash Burger — Oklahoma-style onion smash burger with two patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and royale sauce

  • The Dessert Is Lava — molten chocolate mountain that diners can run gummy contestants through

  • Leo-fied Lassi — smoothie served in an edible chocolate terrarium and made from vanilla yogurt, green apple and kiwi puree, Calpico concentrate, simple syrup, and spinach, with an Oreo crumble

  • Dalgona Rum Buzz — cocktail made with two types of rum, Frangelico, honey, oat milk, and a dalgona candy garnish

  • Too Hot to Handle — cocktail made with habanero-infused vodka, house Bloody Mary mix, cayenne-candied bacon, celery, olive, lime, and pepperoncini

  • Love Is Blind — customizable cocktail made with your spirit and flavor profile of choice, served in a Love Is Blind chalice that diners can take home

For lunch you can start with “To All the Tomato Soups I Loved Before,” a classic soup with a broken heart crouton for dipping, then move on to a bulgogi taco, which is undoubtedly influenced by the South Korean cuisine spotted in Squid Game. This suspenseful show has sparked the development of quite a few other fun menu items, like the “Red Bite, Green Bite,” which has a bit of mystery attached. Per Netflix, this savory snack is “a challenge from the Front Man — spin the wheel to decide your fate — featuring fried chicken, dipping sauces.”

There are even drinks that channel the flavors of Squid Game, like the Dalgona Rum Buzz, a creamy rum and coffee cocktail with — you guessed it — a dalgona candy garnish. Reality tv-lovers may prefer to opt for the Love Is Blind as their tipple of choice, because this customizable cocktail comes in the show’s signature gold chalice, which you can take home with you.

For anyone who adores chocolate, there’s a dessert option that you cannot miss. “The Dessert Is Lava” is a luscious chocolate mountain overflowing with confectioners' molten lava where diners can pit gummy contestants against each other to see who will survive,” and of course it’s meant to channel the spirit of the game show The Floor Is Lava.

Not every offering on the menu is directly inspired by a movie or show — the Greek Yogurt Bowl is exactly what it sounds like — but almost everything has at least a well-placed pun in its name, like the “Netflix Is a Yolk,” a classic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich named after the streaming service’s comedy festival.

To celebrate the anticipated opening of its new restaurant, Netflix invited some of its stars to get an early preview of the eatery, with Cara Buono from Stranger Things, WWE Wrestler Tiffany Stratton, Isaac Francis and Louis Russell from Too Hot to Handle, Alexa Lemieux and Brennon Lemieux from Love is Blind, and chef David Chang from Dinner Time Live with David Chang all making appearances.

Netflix Bites Vegas is officially open to the public, but will only be accepting walk-ins from now through February 19. Diners can book reservations starting on February 20 and find more information at NetflixBites.com.
