Eva Longoria Embraces Utilitarian Details in Gray on ‘Today’ Show With Jenna Bush Hager
Eva Longoria opted for utilitarian style inspiration for her look on the “Today” show on Tuesday in New York City. The “My Mexican Kitchen” author served as cohost alongside Jenna Bush Hager for the daytime talk show’s episode.
Longoria opted for a monochrome charcoal gray look. Her ensemble featured a long-sleeve top with a sharp collar and buttons running down the front placket of the piece. Two pockets were also featured on the top, adding a utilitarian element to the modern look.

Longoria also styled a flowing skirt to match her top and wore a pair of pointed-toe heels in a muted shade of dark blue to add a splash of color to her ensemble.
When it came to her glam, Longoria’s chocolate brown hair was styled with a side part and voluminous curls that cascaded down her shoulders. The “Desperate Housewives” alum’s makeup featured bold brows, a smokey eye and a glossy lip. Longoria often collaborates with stylist Maeve Reilly on her various looks.
Utilitarian style is having a major moment, and Longoria isn’t the only celebrity who recently embraced certain elements into her wardrobe. On Sunday, Morgan Riddle attended the 2025 Australian Open sporting a similar take on the trend.
The social media star, whose partner Taylor Fritz is competing in the Grand Slam tournament, wore an ivory twill jumpsuit by Ralph Lauren, pairing the look with a canvas and leather shoulder bag courtesy of the American fashion label. Riddle’s jumpsuit, similar to Longoria’s “Today” show look, featured pockets and a cinched waist for added silhouette definition.
Longoria’s style features versatility and malleability — able to take on trendy pieces and classic silhouettes with ease. Her latest look for her cohosting stint on “Today” showcases such elements of Longoria’s style, embracing the burgeoning utilitarian trend with muted, modern tones and a classic silhouette.
