Erin Molan's daughter rushed to hospital following health scare
Erin Molan has revealed she had to rush her young daughter to hospital following a health scare over the weekend.
The television presenter made the revelation on Instagram, detailing how 14-month-old Eliza responded well to the care of staff at Sydney Children’s Hospital.
Health scare
“We had our first experience in an Emergency Department with Eliza last night,” the 37-year-old wrote, while remaining tightlipped about the nature of the illness.
Erin went on to explain her gratitude for Australia’s public health system, saying her tot ‘could not have been better looked after’.
“The nurses and doctors (even the other patients waiting with us) were just so loving and caring and genuinely amazing,” she told followers.
“[I am] so grateful to live in a country where we are able to go to a hospital for help and know we will get the best care in the world.”
Luckily for Erin and her fiancé Sean Ogilvy, little Eliza is now believed to be recovering well.
“Thank you, Sydney Children's Hospital, above and beyond for all those who needed your help last night. And we are all good now!” she said.
Soon after sharing the family news with followers, a bevy of Erin’s celebrity pals offered words of support.
“Not a nice experience is it,” wrote netball legend Catherine Cox. “Hope you are BOTH ok.”
Ex-Studio 10 star Jessica Rowe also chimed in: “So glad everything is okay. Big love.”
After helping host The Footy Show during its final season, Erin has largely stayed out of the spotlight since giving birth to Eliza last year.
However, she did hit headlines in June after shrugging off suggestions a 20 To One segment she presented was ‘racist’ - instead proposing critics should ‘find something else to worry about’.
