Emily Ratajkowski's son is celebrating another year around the sun!
On Friday, the model and author, 32, shared a Reel on her Instagram in celebration of her son Sylvester "Sly" on his third birthday. In the video, the mother-son duo giggle, cuddle and pose together as the proud mom shares a glimpse into her life.
"Sly is THREE! This day three years ago I felt my beautiful baby’s soul come into the world and held him to my chest and my god—how the time has flown," Ratajkowski wrote in her caption.
"Witnessing Sly become the loving, curious, funny and kind person he is has been the joy of my life. I feel so lucky to call myself Sly’s mama. I can’t wait to see what comes next 💞."

In December, the proud mom shared a picture with her son as they posed together under the Christmas tree. In one photo, Ratajkowski and Sly sat on the floor, untangling lights as they got ready to decorate the tree.
The My Body author was also pictured carrying her son in front of the tree, getting ready to plant a kiss on him. "Some things change others stay the same 🎄," Ratajkowski wrote in her caption.
In an interview with Elle from November 2021, Ratajkowski got candid about her birthing experience, saying she trusted her body in the moment.
Referencing an excerpt from My Body, her published book of personal essays, Ratajkowski said, "It wasn't until I was rereading the whole book that I realized that at the beginning, there's an essay about not being able to say no. And then in the hospital, I say no, my body responds to me saying no, and I give birth to my son."
"Writing these essays allowed me to get to a place to be in that room and be connected enough to my body to be able to say, 'No, we are not going to use the vacuum.' Then my body's like, 'She just said no. We're going to deliver this baby,'" added the model.
