Em Rusciano has shared a hilariously accurate post about pregnancy boobs, and mums everywhere are loving her for it.
The Aussie comedian and radio presenter is nine months pregnant with her third child with husband Scott Barrow and shared some thoughts about her latest pregnancy in a blog post titled, “Confessions of a preggo”.
In it she opened up about how she’s “both terrified and in awe” of how her body has changed over the last nine months.
“It’s hard not to [be] when your previously B cup breasts now nestle themselves snuggly inside a D cup,” she wrote in the post, which she also shared alongside an image on Instagram.
“And when set free, rest atop your growing stomach like two giant, mono-nippled Jabba The Huts.”
“And when lifted for aeration, they have the surface temperature of ‘centre court at the Australian Open’ degrees celsius underneath,” her post continued..
“I’ve mostly been able to remind myself that there’s a human life growing inside of me. A whole new person to come into the world, created by the factory of my body.”
Mums, and soon-to-be mums, everywhere were quick to thank Em for her relatable post, sharing their own thoughts on the matter.
“I had the same discoveries about my boobs when I was pregnant,” one person commented. “When your milk comes in for the first time and they swell into two hard bowling balls, it gets even weirder.”
“With you all the way on this, every single word causing flashbacks! Which now I can … laugh about,” another mum admitted.
“You look fab. PS how bad is the boob sweat,” read one comment.
Others congratulated the “glowing” mum, and thanked her for sharing her story and pregnancy journey.
“I saw the photo and immediately thought, ‘Em looks bloody amazing,” one person commented.
“All I see is a radiant woman blossoming with life inside her,” another wrote.
Em also used the post to speak about the miscarriage she went through in 2016.
“After my miscarriage in 2016 I couldn’t see a way through to where I am now, I was lost in a fog of grief with seemingly no end in sight,” she writes.
“Now, at nine months pregnant and content with a son moving around in my belly, I look back and wish I could grab that sad lady by the shoulders, and tell her she’ll feel alive on the inside once again.”
Em and Scott already have two children together – Marchella, 16, and Odette, 11.
