Elle Macpherson has revealed that she will be joining the tenth series of Australia's Next Top Model.
The 52-year-old model, who has already appeared on the US version of the show and hosted the Irish and British model search program, has never appeared on the series in her home country.
As she makes her debut on the Australian version of the show, Macpherson spoke to the Daily Telegraph about mentoring a new bunch of young models and why it's taken her so long to come home.
“There’s been many years I’ve been asked to host, I’ve been asked to mentor, I’ve been asked to judge — and the timing hasn’t been right. But this time it was just perfect,” she said.
When it comes to dishing up advice to hopeful models, Elle said she "finds it very difficult".
“My experience has been that if I can look after my body, my spirit and my heart, I am in good stead for a long time," the mother-of-two said.
“So many girls diet too much. They don’t watch their nutrition and don’t look after their spirit."
Recently, she claimed she's set to launch her own fragrance and has revealed she has been wearing a men's aftershave for three decades.
