Eli Tomac Wins Round 2! San Diego Results
San Diego Supercross 2025 will be a race talked about for years and years to come. What a night of racing from Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, for round 2 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and the first leg of the 2025 SMX Championship series.
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Eli Tomac was on fire tonight, powering through the field after a 7th-place start to the front while passing Honda HRC Progressive's Jett Lawrence early on and holding off the reigning 450SX champion by the checkered flag to his 53rd career 450SX win. Tomac jumps up the championship points to the front, now with the red plate entering Anaheim 2 next weekend.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Julien "JuJu" Beaumer claims his career-first 250SX victory and is now the new 250SX West Championship points leader. The 17-year-old rookie from New Zealand, Cole Davies, grabbed the holeshot, and on lap 8, Beaumer made the move after stalking him for those opening laps to take the lead and never looked back to win in San Diego.
