Dylan Sprouse wants to cast twin Cole in roles 'where he gets killed' in violent ways

Dylan said he wants to expand his career as a producer by casting his twin brother in roles where he's "on screen for five minutes and then explodes."

Dylan Sprouse is ready to show his brotherly love for Cole Sprouse by violently killing his characters on screen.

The 31-year-old actor told the titular Live With Kelly and Mark cohosts in an interview Wednesday morning that, as he leans into his budding career as an executive producer, he really wants to cast his twin as characters that die absurd deaths.

"Would you ever cast your brother in something and then be his boss?" Kelly Ripa asked Dylan, who confirmed that he has his eyes open for potential projects that the Suite Life of Zack & Cody costars could work on together in the future.

"I thought it would be pretty funny to start casting him in roles where he gets killed in the movie a lot, the kind of South Park Kenny," Dylan replied. "I thought that would be funny, where he's on screen for five minutes and then explodes."

Earlier in the interview, Dylan revealed that he and his sibling sometimes struggle to find quality parts suitable for real-life twins.

"It's usually pretty hokey. I remember Cole distinctly being kind of bitter about Tom Hardy being a twin [in 2015's Legend]. He doesn't like when people play two different real people," Dylan said. "I looked at him, and I was like, 'Cole, I don't think they were looking for guys like us to play that role, anyway, if they're hiring Tom Hardy.'"
