Kate Middleton told a sweet story about her youngest son, Prince Louis, during an outing earlier this week.

Duchess Kate, 37, was visiting the Peterley Manor Farm in Buckinghamshire as part of engagement for charity Family Action, which provides support for families, including financial and mental health issues relating to them.

During the event, she met a number of families who had been supported by the organisation, including a little boy who greeted her by waving in the air and shouting “Me, me.”

She laughed, and greeted the little boy with a kiss on the cheek.

"You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying 'Me, me, me,' and he wants to come everywhere with me."

Last month, she pulled out of the Tusk Awards for an unspecified reason concerning her children.

“The duchess is no longer able to attend the Tusk awards due to the children,” a representative for Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Earlier this week, the duchess was made patron of the Family Action charity. The Queen passed this role over to her, having held it herself for 65 years.

Her Majesty The Queen has passed the patronage to The Duchess having held the role for over 65 years. Her Majesty took the patronage over from Queen Mary in 1953.

Her appearance at yesterday’s Family Action event marked her first engagement as the organisation’s royal patron.
