When it comes to Dua Lipa’s style, she isn’t afraid to push the envelope. Whether she’s looking incredible in a velvet catsuit or a slinky bedazzled gown, the pop sensation has yet to meet a red carpet that she doesn’t absolutely rule — and her latest outing proves she always a finger on the pulse of the latest trends.

On Sunday, the singer-songwriter arrived at the third annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles channeling Hollywood's favorite goth-glam aesthetic. For the occasion, Dua wore a black lace catsuit by Chanel underneath a seriously sheer ruffled skirt that cascaded down to the floor. She wore nothing but an itty-bitty black bra and matching cheeky underwear beneath her bodysuit, while her accessories included a pair of black strappy heels, diamond earrings, and a sparkly choker necklace.

Beauty-wise, Dua complemented her glowy skin with a matte pink lip, rosy cheeks, and winged eyeliner while styling her auburn hair down with tousled waves and a major side part. A classic French manicure, meanwhile, tied the dark glamour ‘fit together.

Dua’s appearance comes amid a busy few days for the star. Earlier this weekend, the star stepped out for MoMA's 16th annual “The Contenders” series in New York City wearing a long, festive black tweed Chanel coat covered in sequins, which she teamed with bow-shaped diamond earrings and a silver metallic Chanel purse. This outfit was then followed by a slinky chainmail metallic minidress with a pair of sheer black tights and coordinating knee-high leather boots at the Barbie screenplay party in West Hollywood.
