Yahoo Lifestyle 'Doubling Down With the Derricos' Karen Reveals Her Self-Care Secret as a Mom of 14 Kids
TLC viewers have gotten to know more about Deon and Karen Derrico's life as parents to 14 kids in Doubling Down With the Derricos. Recently, Karen dished on her self-care secret as a busy mom to so many little ones.
On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the reality TV personality took to Instagram to answer the commonly asked question from fans.
Karen wiped down her kitchen counters, cabinets and island as she offered insight about prioritizing time for herself amid the chaos of parenting.
"Well, for me, self-care is a 90-minute massage," the 44-year-old revealed. "So I know you all have heard of Becky with the good hair. Yeah, I have Becky with the good hands. And she is freaking amazing."
After her relaxing massage, Karen said she likes to "find me a good movie, and then I will sit in my bed and eat a bag of sunflower seeds."
"It helps me de-stress," she explained.

In June 2024, Karen and Deon announced they had divorced after 19 years of marriage.
“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority," they said in a statement to Parade via TLC. "We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”
The TLC stars are parents to: Darian, 19; Derrick, 14; twins Dallas and Denver, 13; quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten, 11; twins (originally triplets, but their brother Carter died shortly after birth) Diez and Dior, 7; and triplets Dawsyn, De'Aren and Dyver, 5.
