Donald Trump Declares His Hatred for Taylor Swift in Wild Truth Social Post
As the pop star herself would say, “Baby, now we got bad blood.” Donald Trump took to Truth Social Sunday morning to denounce Taylor Swift.
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” the former president wrote on the social media platform, because nothing says chill weekend vibes like an ALL CAPS moment at 10:44 am.
His message comes days after the singer came out in support of Kamala Harris following Tuesday night's presidential debate.
“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote on Instagram along with a photo of herself holding a cat, a tart reference to J.D. Vance’s dig at “childless cat ladies.”
In her endorsement message, Swift also took aim at Trump directly and called him out for reposting AI-generated imagery that made it look like Swift and her fans were supporting him.
The Harris campaign was quick to respond to Trump’s haterade with a lengthy statement chock-full of Swift song titles.
Sarafina Chitka, a campaign spokesperson, shared the masterpiece on X.
“We’re pretty sure it’s Safe (& Sound) to say Donald Trump’s week has him Down Bad,” the first line of the statement read.

Trump’s hatred wasn’t just directed at the singer. In other Truth Social posts shared Sunday morning, he called out “THE FAILING NEW YORK TIMES” and the United States Postal Service.
Following Swift’s official Harris announcement, Trump visited Fox & Friends Wednesday to say she would “pay a price… in the marketplace” for supporting a Democrat.
Unsurprisingly, the Harris-Walz campaign capitalized on Swift’s post and even made their own version of her signature friendship bracelets to sell on their campaign site. The jewelry is currently available to preorder for $20 after selling out last week.
In addition to the Swifties buying merch, Swift’s allegiance to Harris also sent people to Vote.gov, a voter registration website. The Times reports that 406,000 people visited through Swift’s link to the site.
However, it’s not all good news. A Saturday YouGov poll found that Swift’s endorsement only made 8 percent of people “‘somewhat’ or ‘much more likely’” to cast their vote for Harris because of Swift, according to The Telegraph.
