An abandoned pup is looking for a new home.

On Friday, Feb. 14, a dog was found in the parking lot of a Meijer grocery store in Kent County, Mich. with a handwritten note in a plastic bag tied to her collar. "My name is Rukey. Please help me, take me home," the message read.

She was then taken to the Kent County Animal Shelter to be cared for and placed with a new family.
