Game of Thrones star's wedding 'ruined' by DJ

The world went wild for the secret wedding of Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, but it turns out the perfect day was somewhat ruined for the happy couple.

The secret wedding took place in Las Vegas, but it didn’t stay secret for long after DJ Diplo live streamed the ceremony to social media, thereby spilling the beans to the world.

Speaking on UK radio show Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp, Joe opened up about the incident, joking that his good friend ‘ruined’ his special day.

“I love Diplo, but he loves his ’gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds,” the singer admitted.

“He literally, like, live-streamed with dog-face filters.”

The pair tied the knot after the Billboard Music Awards in a Little White Chapel, after obtaining a marriage license earlier in the day

An Elvis impersonator was the celebrant, and Joe’s brothers were the groomsmen.

There doesn’t seem to be any love lost between the couple and the DJ however, with Joe confirming that he and Sophie ‘loved’ the ridiculous video.

“We just laughed. We loved it,” he said.

“We thought it was ridiculous, and I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he was like, ‘Going to hit this wedding real quick’.”

Fans caught wind of the wedding thanks to Diplo’s video, and it’s unsure how long we would have remained in the dark if he hadn’t chosen to share the special moment.

Joe and Sophie first began dating in late 2016 and were engaged the following October.
