Did George Michael have a secret son?
The late George Michael may have fathered a secret love child, according to a new report.
Friends of the singer – who was found dead in his bed on Christmas Day – reportedly believe he has a secret son, and are standing by for him to come forward to claim his share of George’s $173million fortune.
Before coming out as gay in 1998, George dated several women, including actress Brooke Shields and makeup artist Kathy Jeung.
And according to Woman’s Day, one of his flings over in the US during the heady 80s resulted in the birth of a son.
“George spent a lot of time in the US and seemingly got one of his girlfriends pregnant,” a friend of the star tells the mag.
What’s more, the friend says George found out when his ex came to visit him while he was in LA in the late 80s.
“She had a baby with her and she told George that he was the father,” adds the source.
“He never saw or heard from her again.”
Meanwhile, his ex Fadi Fawaz has opened up about the “tough” two months George spent at rehab in Byron Bay, where he sought treatment for “emotional anxiety and other issues” in February 2013.
Fadi stayed with George at the $48,000-a-week facility, where they played pool every night to keep George’s mind off his treatment.
