Yahoo Lifestyle Did Chrishell Just Shade Wes in a Message for Future Traitors?
Welp, the Faithfuls banished yet another innocent at the Traitors episode 6 round table—voting out Wes Bergmann, a Faithful, instead of Rob Mariano (aka Boston Rob). Despite this miscalculation, Chrishell Stause is standing by her decision vote Wes out of the castle.
Doubling down on her Instagram, Chrishell shared a message for future Traitors cast members, writing, "Pro tip to future players: A good strategy in the castle is to NOT be bossy and condescending to women. Because then it's it's a win getting you out regardless."
Though she didn't call him out by name, the message seems pretty clear to me: The Selling Sunset star would rather be stuck with a Traitor than Wes. Earlier in the episode, Chrishell told Boston Rob that she didn't "like the way Wes has spoken to me." And clearly, she wasn't the only one who was getting bad vibes.
IMO, it was Wes' strained relationship with the rest of the group that got him banished. "Wes, in the conversations about who is the Traitor gonna be, it's like you're always looking for one name and for people to stick with you," Gabby Windey said at the round table. "I don't know what the benefit of blind loyalty would be except that you want numbers to come in here and know that you're safe."
In the end, Wes undervalued the importance of a good social game. Based on Chrishell's post, it sounds like he didn't make a big effort to build relationships with the women in the castle that weren't based on fear and intimidation. And whatever good will he had was lost the second he declared himself the "winningest person at the table" and threatened to go after anyone who voted for him.
Oh, Wes, I would say I'll miss you, but based on the subpar game you played, I probably won't. Better luck next time!
