Diane Kruger Sees Red in Sari-Inspired Prabal Gurung Dress at All That Glitters Diwali Ball in New York
Diane Kruger made a bold entrance on Saturday at the All That Glitters Diwali Ball in New York. The event, hosted by the nonprofit Gold House, was co-sponsored by Nordstrom and Estée Lauder.
For the occasion, Kruger wore a scarlet sari-inspired dress by Prabal Gurung, which featured bodice cutouts and delicate draping. The actress’ extravagant Chopard jewels included peacock-shaped earrings, a diamond necklace and sapphire cocktail rings. Kruger completed her look with a pair of gold high-heeled sandals.

“Let the light in,” the actress wrote on Instagram. “Happy Diwali, a much needed reminder of joy.”
Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, is an annual holiday celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. The celebration represents the triumph of good over evil.
Earlier this month, Kruger attended the New York City Ballet’s fall 2023 gala, which honored the company’s 75th season. The actress was accompanied by her longtime partner, “The Walking Dead” actor Norman Reedus. Kruger opted for a white satin Givenchy gown with an embellished bodice, pairing her ensemble with a small metallic handbag.
Kruger currently has several projects in the works. She’s set to star in David Cronenberg’s upcoming film, “The Shrouds,” as well as in the French psychological thriller “Visions,” which premiered at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival in September.
