Determined Aussie Puppy Pushes Through Epic Flop in Pursuit Of Olympic Dreams

Some dogs don't have an off switch, and Aussies are among them. This energetic breed can run for hours without ever seeming to tire. Most impressively, they dispense their energy with pure and limitless joy!

This little puppy is a perfect example of these charming traits. Even though he may not have mastered his dive, he won't let that stop him from having a good time.

Watch his valiant attempt in this video shared on July 29:

Beautiful Emmett (@mr.bodieaussie) deserves an A for his efforts. He made a mistake and attempted his dive at the corner instead of along the straight edge, resulting in a spectacular flop. In the background, his big brother Bodie briefly appeared concerned seeing the tumble but quickly realized he was just fine as he happily paddled along. Talk about perseverance! While this dive might not help him earn a spot on an Olympic team, his spirit will undoubtedly get him there if he keeps trying. I'm not sure that tiny face could be any cuter, so he would probably be welcomed on any team he attempted to join. I would certainly take him in a second!

Are Mini-Aussies Known for an Outgoing Nature?

Yes, they are! Miniature Aussies possess a playful and energetic nature that makes them eager to participate in activities with their people, whether playing fetch, hiking, or training. They are highly intelligent, making them easy to teach, and their outgoing spirit helps them excel in a number of dog activities, such as herding and agility. While Aussies possess the physical ability to swim, it's essential to gauge their interest and introduce them to water activities in a positive and patient way. If they are like Emmett and enjoy the water, it's a terrific way to burn off some of their abundant energy.

Although he may have taken a tiny tumble, people believed he earned a medal. One person shared, "Ok, I watched that too many times! No score necessary- definitely a winner!" Good point; his cuteness is off the charts, anyway! Viewer @carolannlevis responded, "Gold for sure! And you can enter him in some of the swimming sports too. Maybe the 100m." He would unquestionably excel in those races, paddling away with such enthusiasm. Viewer @daycare_mom_ remarked, "That is called the Forward Fall in with a Single Twist dive." That sounds like the ideal name for this elite category.

Just like this little guy's perseverance, there is much we can learn from our dogs. Life's too short to worry about our failures. If at first we don't succeed, shake it off and keep going!
