Derrick Henry has had a successful career in the NFL as a running back for the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens, and his girlfriend, Adrianna Rivas, has been there from the beginning.

Rivas and Henry started dating in 2016, the same year he was drafted by the Titans in the second round. Since then, the couple have welcomed two daughters together.

Although the transition to fatherhood wasn't without its difficulties — Henry joked with Kevin Hart on his show Cold As Balls that he wasn't sleeping much as a new father — the four-time Pro-Bowler said, per The Athletic, that his family is “all the motivation I need in this world."

Henry and Rivas' family are close to some of his teammate’s families, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

“There's a lot of things we can be happy about. His wife and my girl, they're close. My little girl loves his kids," Henry said of Tannehill after the running back played his final game with the Titans in 2024.

She is from Texas

Rivas was born in Texas in 1994 to Simona and Joe Rivas, and has two brothers: Daniel and Adriel. After growing up in Odessa, she studied at the University of Texas, and got a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2016.

She’s close with her family and sometimes posts photos of her parents, siblings and grandparents on Instagram.

In August 2020, Rivas posted photos of her grandparents meeting her daughter Valentina, writing, “I’m so blessed to be able to still have three out of my four grandparents. My heart is so full seeing my daughter and her great-grandparents.”

Rivas and Henry started dating in 2016

In 2016, the same year she got her degree, Rivas started a relationship with Henry.

Her first post on social media with Henry, a selfie of the couple and one of their dogs, is from November 2017.

Rivas and Henry have two daughters together. In January 2020, Rivas announced on Instagram that she was pregnant with the couple’s first daughter. Valentina Allure was born on May 18 of that year.

On Christmas Day in 2023, Rivas posted a family photo and announced that they were expecting again: “From our growing family to yours, Merry Christmas.” Their second daughter, Celine Amor, was born on April 22, 2024.

The couple also share two dogs: Goldendoodle Nala and Rottweiler mix Nino, and Rivas often posts photos of them on her Instagram.

Rivas supports Henry on the field

Rivas often watches Henry play in person and on TV.

In December 2018, when Henry made his record-breaking 99-yard touchdown run, she posted a video of the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Just watch.” She was also present, along with Valentina and Simona, at Henry’s press conference after signing with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024.

Rivas attends events with him, too. In July 2021, the couple went to the ESPY Awards in New York City where Henry was nominated for best NFL player.

Rivas keeps her over 10,000 followers on Instagram updated on her life and family, often sharing photos of Henry and their daughters.

For Father’s Day in 2024, she posted a video of Henry with their daughters.

“I love watching our babies look at you. The view only gets sweeter with time," she wrote in the caption. "They feel how loved and protected they are in your arms and in your eyes. I thank God everyday that you are who he gave to me and our girls. We love and appreciate you so much."
