Demi Moore checks in on Sean Evans as she breezes through “Hot Ones”, calls sauces 'baby s---'
"Do you have one stronger?" she asked.
Demi Moore isn’t afraid of a little heat.
The Substance star didn't even break a sweat as she took on the Hot Ones gauntlet, remaining so cool, calm, and collected that she actually ended up supporting the show’s host Sean Evans as he struggled with the wings of death and their ever-increasing heat.
In fact, the biggest reaction from her came during the first wing when her nose began to run. “I’m just dabbing my nose. It doesn’t mean it’s too hot for me, it just means my nose is running,” Moore clarified after taking a bite. “Excuse me. Not a good look.”

She was far less impressed with the spice factor of the third hot sauce. “This is like baby s---,” she declared. “Like come on now, Sean, what are we doing here?”
When Evans suggested that they keep this moment in mind when the wings eventually jumped up the Scoville scale, Moore replied, “I’ll take it in. See, I might be getting too grandiose. Let me just keep my humility.”
But she wasn’t fazed by the fourth sauce, either. “I’d really like to tell you that this has something to it, but it’s got a very subtle, very, very light back end of spice,” she said. “It’s not baby s--- and it’s got some OK flavor, so maybe I should just be in appreciation of how light and easy these are right now.”
Evans was very supportive of seeing the sauces get the kick they deserved. “I kind of like this sort of antagonistic relationship that you’re building with the gauntlet already,” he remarked. “I like it. Lean into it.”
When it came time for the dreaded Da Bomb — which is known to trip up celebrities with its powerful heat — Moore simply replied, “It’s spicy.” After noticing that Evans was moving around in his chair after his bite, she added, “You look like you’re hurting over there.”
In response, Evans burst into laughter. “Demi, I need you to hold my hand through this experience,” he said. “Usually I try to support, but I might need to lean on you in this situation. It never gets easier for me.”
Moore, who remained casually in her seat without fanning her face or reaching for any water, just noted that the sauce was “kind of ugly,” adding, “I mean, it’s not a nice one.”
She checked in with Evans again after they finished their last wing and he had to clear his throat. “You alright over there?” she asked. “You catch the back of your throat there?”
Evans recovered quickly. “Yeah, yeah, I’m doing good. I’m trying to put on a stronger front for you, Demi,” he said. “That’s what I find myself doing right now.”
But she just simply wasn’t overwhelmed by the capacity of the capsaicin. “I wish I could say that it was over the top and I would be like, ‘Oh my God! Ahh!’" she said, raising her hands in the air. "That’s why I said, ‘Do you have one stronger?’”
