Dallas actress Linda Gray's son, Jeff Thrasher, 56, has died

Dallas actress Linda Gray has taken to her Instagram account to let her followers know the sad news that her son has passed away.

The 80-year-old actress uploaded a photo in tribute to her 56-year-old son, Jeff Thrasher, who died following a reported battle with leukemia.

“A celebration of my son Jeff’s life. He was the kindest, funniest, sweetest human being..... he brought the world such love and was loved by everyone! May his journey be a magical one,” Linda wrote.

Her caption was accompanied by two images, one of Jeff on a bike riding through a park and another of his name in a love heart written on the sand at a beach.

Following in his mother’s footsteps, Jeff became involved in Hollywood as a director, earning an Emmy nomination in 2018 for Outstanding Directing in a Multiple Camera Lifestyle, Culinary or Educational and Informational Program for Furze World Wonders.

He also received a Canadian Screen Awards for Best Science or Nature Documentary Program or Series for 2015’s Mission Asteroid.
